First learn to type.

Next, a 12 year old having a crush on an man is very common. It is probably harmless and will never amount to anything. Her mother should be made aware of the situation if she isn't already. The mother needs to decide if she has to discuss the situation with her friend. (for example: does she need to tell this friend that her daughter is off-limits, or does he already understand this.) There really isn't much for you to do, only for the mother to make sure the crush doesn't become a relationship.

The 12 year old girl having a crush is nothing new. Just look at the core audience for N'Sync or the Backstreet Boys...it was a bunch of pre-teen girls who thought the 20-something band members were "hot." I don't see this being an issue unless the 25 year old man is returning her interest in him. If that's the case, then it's time to call the cops and keep her the hell away from him.

Hopefully he is mature enough and has a brain not to touch her, I would tell my friend that he needed to nip this in the bud before his 12 yr old daughter tried something foolish like actually try to act on her crush by getting her mom's best friend alone somehow. I know, when I was 13 I did it. And yes, it worked and him and I were secretly going out and when I was older and ready, he got my virginity.... so, please express the importants of an adult talk with your friends daughter and her mother to be present at this talk.......... a family talk. I am not saying he would.... cause I don't know, but you don't know people these days and this best friend could always be so flattered that he ends up showing this 12 yr old how flattered he is by hurting her and raping her if the opportunity was there. This world is full of sick people and you never know until something happens........ look at the worlds most famous serial killers........ nieghbors and friends knew them for years and couldn't beleive what they found out was true.......... please take care and be protective......... blessed be.

The 12 year old should stay with people her own age. If when she's 18 she still feels something for the guy then who knows?

Sounds like about the same as a crush on a teacher when you're in middleschool. Nothing should evolve from it. If something does then that man needs help.

Tell her that it's only a crush.
Tell her to forget the man.
He's more than twice her age, and it's hard to bridge the gap between them.
They are waay too young to know what love is yet.
They still have a long way ahead of them to discover and learn what love is all about.

Don't worry. 12-year-olds have crushes all the time, it doesn't mean a thing.

No matter who does what, someone is going to be hurt. Someone needs to get this girl a puppy, a really cute one.

If he is your friend, get this girl away from this cradle robber. He can be charged with statutory rape if seen with this child.
