.....worrying about what happens to them when they die instead of just getting on and living it? I know if I was God and had given someone the gift of life and they wasted it like that, I would be quite annoyed.

I'm sure that Christians would tell you that if you lived according to "God's Word", you would have nothing to fear. The problem comes when you try to figure out just what that word is and what it means. Too many possible interpetations, too many sects claiming they are the only onews who have it right...

Just toss it all out in the trash and live well. Follow the Golden Rule and you'll be fine.

Like the song says, "Life is what happens when we're making other plans."

What is waste to one person may be quite productive to another. People who worry about their deaths may want to prevent their loved ones from going bankrupt when trying to bury them. People worry if they already have a disease, and know that it will get worse, or if they are likely to inherit some sort of ailment.

Everyone at some point will take an interest in death as it is part of living. I wouldnt call it a waste unless its ALL they think about therefore they will go through the rest of there lives very paranoid.
There is also the fact that we all think of it at some point like when we have a fear of flying or fear of heights etc etc they all play a part in thinking about death in general. We are all guilty

The Lord has a plan and purpose for everyone. Some people simply choose to not seek God's will for their life, so they end up feeling useless and waste their life... Sad I know, but true.

I don't understand why so many people waste their time in church and worrying about 'god'. I live my life to the fullest every day....it ROCKS to be an Atheist!!!

The God you speak of is created by what you would like him to be like, but this is not God.

The one true God exists in the Father Son and Holy Spirit, Christs death and resurection.

Christ said " I have come that they might have life and have it to the full" life is found in Him, for in Him do you move and have your being.

Any thought on what you would like God to be like will not stand when you come face to face with him. He will judge you according to his word, and if you are found in Christ you shall be saved.

Take care

people aren't wasting their lifes if they worry about what will happen when they die. There just scared off what may or may not be waiting for them on the otherside...if there is one.

Dont worry about death it will happen to you, tomorrow or in 50 years live each day as if its your last. It doesnt matter if you belive in god or not if you treat everyone with respect and compassion you have nothing to fear.

Okay, so what do you have to lose by believing in god and going to church faithfully?? If you choose not to and you get to those pearly gates and your name is not in that book of life, you have a very lot to lose. Like, eternal life for example.

Because people are selfish and think about everything they want.... Sure, we all want to live forever but we can't.. Live evryday like it's your last because you just never know who's around the corner waiting to take you to Heaven...
