i heard RCA aint that good and samsung is the best etc..but whats ur opinion.

my uncle is a mechanical engineer and used to rate tvs for consumerreports.com, the official consumer reports rating run by the federal government. The best tv today is SONY, it is the only tv with a glare screen also so you won't get any glare, the other good tvs are TOSHIBA AND PANASONIC . My parents have a sony that is 18 years old and it has has modern technology liked additional speakers on the back for enhanced sound. The two worst tvs are zenith and lg. samsung and zenith are not the best in tvs because there are pixels in the tv that make the picture and they go black and bad the quickest in about two years. So you would be best off with sony, it has the best rated picture and a long life. Also don't buy a dlp tv, go for a lcd tv.

In today's market take a look at Samsung, LG and Panasonic. Good prices and good quality.

Sony or Magnavox. I personally like Magnavox since it has smart sound....no more annoying LOUD commercials!
