The theme for my wedding is going to be Wish Upon A Star. I need ideas for centerpieces please? My colors are white, silver, and navy blue. Pics would be great!

Thanks for all of you sticking up for me. Of course I'm not going all out in stars. It's just an extra detail that is cute. I'm using navy blue roses as part of the centerpiece, but I wanted candles also and something star incorporated in that.

People should be ashamed of themselves for giving you sh*t about your theme. Mine's hearts. (What is this, some kind of 8th grade Valentine's Day dance??) Anyway it sounds gorgeous. Nice colors! Um...you know those cardboard cutout decorations for holidays and stuff? Maybe get some shiny star shaped ones in blue and silver, then on top of them set small glass bowls (check craft stores, outlets, discount and wholesale places for really great deals) which you could fill with water (colored or clear) and float star shaped candles...or you could put those little colored gems (you know the ones I mean, kinda like marbles but flatter?) and stick a candle down in there.
Anyway I hope you have your dream wedding! Good luck!

For a classy and more "wedding-y" look, ask a florist about star-shaped flowers. A few of those as a centerpiece on a mirror with some (not much, mind you) star-shaped confetti is festive.

Another thought would be bowls of water with star-shaped floating candles. Or on the more subtle side of things, how about just using a ribbon that has stars on it.

Or how about something less literal - have a pretty (short) arrangement of flowers for the centerpiece of each table and instead of numbering the tables with 1, 2, 3 etc, use the names of real stars. Or maybe different pictures of shooting stars. It can be done without being cutesy.

I think white flowers in silver/blue vases/containers & then maybe you can find clear votive candle holders with stars on them or stars etched into the glass. That way you'd have your centerpieces of flowers & then the candles of course give a nice glow & you'd have varying heights. Sorry no pics, it's just an idea!

I just want to say "BITE ME" to everyone on here who leaves nasty comments. Having stars for center pieces is a cute original idea and if you don't like it then shove it! Your just jealous you have no personality and imagination.

Back to the question- Do you want flower or candles or something totally different? There are a ton of things you can do with that idea. Also depends what you would like to do... try google.com and search for different images. Also check out a local craft store and see what fun stuff they have.

And I like your idea, don't Liston to any negative stuff on here!!

This kinda sounds like a prom but you could use star shaped mirrors with five pointed flowers in a vase sourrounded by star shaped candles you dont want to over do it then it will be like Trailor Park High's Graduation Extravaganza lol
