I have brown hair that is 6 inches below my shoulders. It's all one length, except for fringy layers at the front. I ALWAYS wear it in a ponytail. If I wear it down, I feel like a mop. How short should I cut it so that it's still sexy long, but gives me lots of styling options?

you should have choppy layors and the last one at shoulder leght that is how i got myne cut and i love it its cute straight and curly and really cute with hair spay

cut it about 2 inches below shoulder length with long layers in the back and a few face layers. this way you can straighten it, pull it in a ponytail, curl it, or even braid it.

it depends on your hair structure (thin/thick, lots of volume or not) and the shape of your face. No one can tell you without looking at your real pic and knowing your hair type, so it's best to go to a good hair salon (not those cheap ones) and ask a profesional hair stylist. I love Carlton Hair International, but not sure if they have salons where you live. Good luck!

you can do a lot with long hair. i would recommend loose curls using a styling iron as this adds volume and texture to your hair and looks a lot more interesting than a ponytail! it is also fairly easy to style yourself

get it cut to your armpit (if you get what i mean) get it feathered--- only the few inches below your chin and get one layer its a very specific haircut lolz..i had it exactly but ive got loads more layers now ..iv keptit the same lenght all year round...thick hair looks good with a few layers ..it catches the light more...

I would go no shorter than your shoulders so you don't get stuck in the stage of too short and not long enough.

get all your hair layered and get it layered shorter 2-3 inches. then you can wear it any way you want.

It all depends on the shape of your face. If you have a round face dont do a bob it will only make you rounder. Trust me on that.

cut about 2 inches off. it will look great down or up. it will be much healthier too.
