My boyfirend and I have been dating for almost a year. Yesterday, we saw each other at this audition. I was with my friends, so I gave them about five minutes of attention until I realized I had this sudden urge to just go and talk to him (we haven't spoken in a VERY long time). Oh, and try to kiss him, because I've been DYING to do that. But, my hear started pounding REALLY fast, and I panicked. My friends also wanted to meet the love of my life, but I simply couldn't do it. I mean, how awkward is it to speak to someone you really like after almost two months of silence?!??!?!?!? We never spoke, but came pretty close to it...I just freaked. Honestly, I'm not exactly what you would call "brave". My friend said he couldn't take his eyes off me and looked just as scared as I was to do anything ("He wants you to make the first move,")! Any advice? We're going to see each other at rehearsal this Monday (he made it into the show), and I was wondering how to talk to him. And how to kiss him!

For those of you who are confused, we don't go to school together. We just met during this play and well, things started to happen! Also, my friends aren't all that social, and when ever they get the change to meet him, they can't take it.

Melany said it all...the only thing I would add to is for you to try and get your friends involved. Tell them that you need time alone, etc. Maybe even ask them to help you out (you know, get them to say things like "Oh, you make such a cute couple!" or "Have you guys kissed yet?" and "Wow, no kissing, and this relationship is how old? ONE YEAR? WOW, BABY!")....

If you can't even go up to him and talk....what can I say? I'm an aries...when I saw my boyfriend of 1yr and a half for the first time (internet relationship) I just voided everything and everybody in that airport out and stood my ground until he noticed me. I saw him leave the trolly he was pushing and walk towards me. Our eyes were locked and we forgot where we were. He reached down and I grabbed his shirt and kissed him with all the love I had for him.
I suggest you go up to him....look at him for a second, say hi and just plant the slowest, softest kiss on his lips for a few seconds. No tongue or wetness...just your lips on his...and linger.
It's a great ice breaker. But you seem a bit timid. It sounds like you are both crazy for each other. Make the first move. Even if it's to just say hi. I'm sure he's as scared as you. Guys in love usually are. My guy was shaking after we kissed. He came all the way to the US from Scotland to meet me and my family. We spent 3 months together and making plans for the future. He's back home now but will be back in December.
Why am I telling you this? Because it took my first step to agree with him to come 6,000 miles to meet up. That was risky, dangerous, naive, blind, unsupported from friends and family and the most wonderful decision I've made in my life.

Been there. I recently ran into an old girlfriend who I still have feelings for and we haven't seen eath other in ten years. To tell the truth, I just wanted to go up to her and plant a nice wet one on her. Even though I gained a lot of weight she is still interested. Go figure. But in your case,try to get him alone,perhaps during a break and say hello.
When you greet him,give him a kiss on the cheek. But when you leave(if you're still interested) give him a smooch and your number. Life's too short and you don't want to be stuck with woulda,shoulda coulda. Good luck!

Well it is hard to talk to him when you havent talked for two months. You wont know what to say or what to do. But all you need to do is first relax, take a deep breath, and walk up to him and just say "Hey I've missed you, so what you been doing lately" I do that with my boyfriend when we dont talk for awhile. So on monday just chill out. Relax for a few minutes wait until he notices your there. But dont go straight up to him when he sees you. Just wait a few minutes then once he turns away just walk up to him and say what i said to say. Its an easy way to start a conversation. For the kiss. Well you could just give him a hug then turn your face infront of his put your forehead against his and juss kiss him.
