they make colored contacts that don't have any prescription to them. They don't effect your eyesight at all. Just make sure you take them out and clean them regularly.

Contacts worn just for eye color change will not affect your vision although you should know that if you leave the contacts in for long periods of time you can affect the health of your eyes in other ways. Your eyes need oxygen that they may not recieve with the contacts in and you could develop an infection. Be sure to talk to an eye doctor first to make sure that it is alright for you to use the contacts and how to do so safely.

the worst that contact lenses will do if they are worn for a long time are cataracts. It's really the person's call.

there are contacts that my friend wore for halloween, that madeit look like she had cat eyes so if you want one of those you can get them, otherwise yes regular contacts come in farsited and nearsighted

if they are someone else's prescription in them yes they will affect your eyesight, but if not dont worry about it.
