I would suggest an intervention, get some of his friends and family together to talk about his problem. sometimes it take a kick in the *** to realize you have a problem. Once HE admits HE has a problem you can look into NA meetings (Narcotics Anonymous). Addicts think they feel "normal" when there using until they get off the drug and know what clearity actually is and its a good feeling. About the abuse, dont take it, you want him to straighten out and the Intervention doesnt work call the Police. There is no reason for you to take abuse for something that is out of your control. Good Luck and God Bless
Try typing in NA and your state in Google, im sure there is a site for you

If he has no insurance how is he geting the meds? Anyway he needs help. Not only for the abuse, and addiction, but also for his health. There is no telling how much damage those pills have done to his insides. Please try to find a doctor or someone that will help. Go to a health clinic. We have a heath clinic here that helps you even if you do not have insurance. Your visits will be as cheap as $5. That is how much they cost here.

He may have an underlying condition - hyperinsulinemia - which may be causing another condition - hypoglycemia - which may be responsible for his addiction and behavior.

Check out www.hufa.org for basic information on hypoglycemia. It has some books, in the "library" that you may be able to use to feed him food that may help.
