Typically AAA's contract states that they will take it to any place of your choosing, WITHIN a certain amount of miles.
So... if you're within that distance, you should be fine.

Sure. I have had cars towed from my driveway to my mechanic because it was unsafe. Always pay the premium 100 mile coverage. Otherwise after 7 miles it is like $7 or more a mile beyond that. Something does not add up that a dealer does not want to fix your car fast enough? There is a whole lot more to this story, care to elaborate?

No, I relatively have this cap and it relatively works like this. with the intention to have factors conceal the motor vehicle ought to have broken down first, The AA will come out to the motor vehicle and verify it on the roadside. then if ideal, will take it to a storage or repairer of your determination (presented you have "get you living house restoration"). in any different case they're going to delivery you to the closest AA authorized storage. After the upkeep have been agreed and finished, YOU pay for them and declare the agreed expenses lower back from the AA. Sorry.

The AA should take the car to the destination of your choice, I only run oldies and classics, and fix them myself, so the few times this has happened, I have had them tow it back to my house, but yes, they should take it wherever you tell them to. I think thats scandalous that a 2 week old Ford should breakdown, hope you've torn a strip off of them for that! No matter what they say, I think modern cars aren't actually very reliable, I see quite a few newish cars on the hard shoulder and think, ridiculous!

I had Green Flag recovery with my last insurance policy.
Great....nope. I got 'free' recovery in a 25 mile radius OR to the nearest garage - whichever was closer. Being 85 miles from home and at £2 a mile for the other 60miles.... you do the math!!
Yes, they will take you, but don't expect a great deal from the nominated garages either! I got ripped off. £350.00 to replace a water pump (£20 trade) - and hours work max.

Probably varies depending on your contract - check details they sent you or give them a call. I've never found a garage gives me priority on service/repairs just because I bought the car from them - in fact sales & service often barely know one another. The breakdown people you really want are Green Flag - much better than AA or RAC.

AAA?
If you are a member than you can have it towed for free up to 100 miles, after that I believe it is .40cents per mile, still a good deal. Since you have already had it towed there they might not want to pick it up and move it for you. If not just get a couple of friends to help you push it a block away and call AAA and tell them you need it towed again.

Used to be if you had the basic aaa coverage you had to pay 3times the going rate for the mieage over what they cover. It was thier policy for years to allow the tow companies to do that to you in order to keep thier expense down.

They will take it anywhere you want and from anywhere. You do have to pay for a distance over 5 miles, I think it's like $2 a mile. Best wishes

AA will only help you with 12 steps, the rest is up to you, or TRIPLE A!
