I was 4, in a car with a woman that wasn't my mom. My older brother who was 5 and my youngest brother who was 2. We were being taken across the border to our parents. The woman told us we had to tell the man (who interviewd us) that she was our mom.

Apparently, she was an illegal alien smuggler...we were the illegal aliens. Before anyone goes out on a tangent, my dad did petiotion for our legal permanent residency short after.

I have many memories of my childhood, but I think that is the one where I was the youngest. I was shocked to know I remember this and neither of my 2 brothers do. I was aslo shocked to know I was 4. I didn't know this until my mom was telling me about her friend who used her own kids birth certificates to bring us for our mom. Didn't even want any favours returned. I wish there were more people like that lady.

Anyways... some people don't have the same luck eh?

I actually have a lot of early memories, and am not sure what was first. I remember my brother being born when I was 2. I remember not being allowed to play with a dog when I was 2. Memories of being 2-4 years old: not being allowed to wear favorite outfit, watching mom do laundry, eating oatmeal for breakfast, playing with the neighbors, coveting the neighbor kids' toys, watching my brother learn to ride a bike and wishing I could do it, losing "races" in the back yard... the list goes on and on...wow, this sounds awful. I had a very happy childhood; am I a really negative person to remember so many negative things first??! :)

A smart old boss of mine once said your earliest memory is usually something unpleasant. His is when his hat blew off at an airport. Mine was when I was walking under the ironing board and knocked it over causing a big commotion.

Probably about the earliest one I got is going to gulf shores with my dad and his friends when I was about 2. I just have a couple glimpses of the trip still in my mind. I can't remember anything before that.

I remember my Third birthday... running into my parents room and getting a Mr. potato head as a present. I have other memories, but I can't tell what time they were at without some historical significance like a birthday.

Mine is walking down the road to the market with lights on both sides.... I remember looking at all those lights with awe and wonder. I was 20 mos old and I remember walking with my mum and dad they would each hold my left and right hand and guide me down the path.

When I was 3, I was outside playing after it had been raining, and I found a huge worm, picked it up, and stretched it out. Grosses me out to think about it now, but that's deff my earliest memory.

I remember the color of the floor of the house in which I lived with my parents when I was barely between 1 and 1.5 years old.
