I love salads.
1 bag of field greens
some chick peas
crumbled feta cheese
crisp bacon finely chopped
seeded cucumber diced
green or black olives chopped
Chopped artichoke hearts (good but optional)
Dressing
3 TBS Olive oil
2 TBS Red wine vinegar (or adjust to your taste)
1 clove crushed garlic
pinch oregano
salt and pepper to taste
1 tsp grainy dijon mustard
1or 2 tsp honey to taste
combine salad ingredients on platter Chill ingredients very well so salad will be ice cold and crisp.
combine all dressing ingredients in bowl and wisk very well. Dress salad right before serving.
Serve with either warm garlic bread sticks or top salad with crutons.

I love salads. All kinds of salads. On a regular garden salad I like Ranch or Blue Cheese dressing.

Not really. I have been in the restaurant industry for 20 years. I have seen more bugs and worms in lettuce than in anything else, except, maybe, Fillbert nuts.
