I'm looking forward to finding out. I just know it says:
26"So if anyone tells you, 'There he is, out in the desert,' do not go out; or, 'Here he is, in the inner rooms,' do not believe it. 27For as lightning that comes from the east is visible even in the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. 28Wherever there is a carcass, there the vultures will gather.
29"Immediately after the distress of those days
" 'the sun will be darkened,
and the moon will not give its light;
the stars will fall from the sky,
and the heavenly bodies will be shaken.'
30"At that time the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and all the nations of the earth will mourn. They will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky, with power and great glory. 31And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.
32"Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: As soon as its twigs get tender and its leaves come out, you know that summer is near. 33Even so, when you see all these things, you know that it is near, right at the door. 34I tell you the truth, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened. 35Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.
(Matthew 24)

At the brightness of His coming, our minds will be opened up on a new level spiritually (like the rich man in hell in Luke 16:24 who knew who Abraham was, though he never saw him on earth)
Rev 1:7 Every eye will see Him even, and they also that pierced him, because all that are in the graves will hear His voice (John 5:28) (the Roman soldiers passed away long ago, but will see because souls never die). Rev 6:16 lets us know that All will know the Lamb is there, though many will still refuse to give up their sinful ways (Rev 9:21)
(1 Thessalonians 4:16-18), the dead in Christ will rise first and then they which are alive will meet Him in the air.

Ok, a couple of mis understandings here.
All the nations do not come together for Jesus at the start of revelation.
At the start, Jesus comes (not down to the earth) to the clouds and those of us who are dead in the flesh are "taken up first" then in that same instant (twinkling of an eye) we who are alive in the flesh and believe are caught up in the clouds with him.
Now toward the very end of Revelation, Jesus does come back to the earth, but with all of us (saints) behind him as his army, not to fight, but to claim victory (victory was won at Calvary).
During Revelation there will be a Christ here on earth that is claiming to be the Messiah. This person is called the Anti-Christ, and many who are "left behind" will believe that he is the true Messiah, but many will not. This is what you are thinking about with the nations coming together. They will all allow themselves to be rules by this Anti-Christ Messiah.
The bible describes how we will all know that Jesus has come in the clouds to claim his own. It states that just as we all see lightning in the sky, no matter where we are, so to shall we all know at an instant that the Lord had come to claim his own.

I hope you won't think this is dumb but I think it may be announced by the media - that's the only way I know it could be accomplished. Of course God, being All-Powerful, may have a special and new way to do it. I personally think that only God's closest "associates" have any clue, but as Revelation says:
Those who have an ear listen - those with an eye - see.

The word says He will come down and every eye shall see Him, even those that pierced Him. It is going to be such a time stopping event that there will be no doubt in anyones's mind that this is Jesus. We will recognize Him. No doubts.

i believe all nations come together under the antichrist, not christ. besides, revelation is not an historical or predicitve document. it was a response to the rulers at the time, that's all. the numbers and symbols all relate to something at THAT TIME. not now. it was written with such imagery and numbers to code it so only Jews could understand it since being Jewish was illegal at the time it was written.

Why not ask what will happen when you find a Wardrobe that will take you to Narnia while your at it?
Either way, you're talking about mythology and fantasy...

Don't try to find a rational explanation for religion, religion is by definition irrational.
