You need to do cardio more than 2 days a week. You should do 40-60 min of cardio 4-6 days a week. And weights 3-4 times a week. It all depends on how much you need to lose and how fast you want to do it. I lost 30 pounds by doing 60 min of cardio 6 days a week and lifting weights 4 days a week. But, I have a hard time eating healthy, so the extra exercise helped me to keep losing weight. I also write down everything I eat. I count calories and I weigh out all of my portions. Do more cardio and watch what (and how much) you eat and you'll be fine.

Monday - Weights
Tuesday - Cardio 30 to 40 minutes
Wednesday - Weights
Thursday - Cardio 30 to 40 minujtes
Friday - Weights
Saturday - Cardio 30 to 40 minutes

It is only an example. I put most of my customers on this for this first 6 to 8 weeks.

Absolutely.......especially if you are watching what you eat or cutting calories. You can also increase gradually the weight of your dumbells or switch weights every other day!
