1PM is way too much. Where is he going to spend the night. If you mean 1AM I think, he will be alright. Just tell him that you will be picking him up.

Didn't you, when you were that age?
There is always one friend in the group with a later curfew and your son does not want to be seen as a pansy for having to be home early.
Perhaps you could make an acception, just this once? The fair only comes around once a year.....

No, I'd think 11 is a good curfew for this age. Is there something special going on after 11 that makes him want to extend it? If there is a big thing going on at midnight I might give in this once. Ask him why he thinks its too early.

Depending on where you live, the police have a curfew for minors. Call the police station and ask what it is, then tell him it's the law he has to be home at a certain time. It might even be 10:00.

I think that that is quite fair. 11pm. Although he can do just as much before 11 as he could after. Do you trust him? Has he given you any reason to worry? If not stick to the 11 for now and maybe add 1/2 an hour next time etc...

Give him until 12 jsut for that night. but 11 is a good time, besides he's just 15 it's not like he's old enough to hang out with his friends at a bar.; ) So you're being fair with the boy

11:00, 11:30 should be good enough for a 15 year old. 1:00 is out of line. He dosn't need to be out that late without you being with him.

No, you're not being unreasonable at all! Tell your son he should be grateful that you would even consider letting him stay out until 11:00PM. At 17, I wasn't even allowed to stay out past 6PM unless I was working with other students on a school project, so he really should be grateful...

You have set a reasonable curfew - 15 yr old boys are seldom reasonable - stick to your rules

Of course you are not unreasonable.
You better than anyone know your own child, and if you think past 11pm is too late (I happen to agree with you), then go with it.
Your instinct knows best.
More parents such as yourself need to step up and place limits on their children and actually knew where they are, what they're doing, and when they'll be back.
