It won't get worse, plus your health is more important than your appearance. Good luck

It won't greatly improve overnight, but smoking is known to cause wrinkles/lines around the mouth/lips and eyes. Of course, your teeth will look much better, too. So, if you stop now then you won't have to worry about dealing with excessive smoker wrinkles or having an ashtray mouth.

Good luck!

The chances are very slim that you would contract smoking related COPD if you quit now. When I stopped I had 25 pack years smoking history behind me and have been told by my doctor that within 7 years I will have the same risk of COPD as a non smoker - ie someone who has never smoked.

Your appearance will definitely change. Smoking causes wrinkles. But more important than your appearance is your health and the health of those around you.

It will a little bit. It depends when you started. If you've been smoking since 15-20, I wouldn't count on it.

YES!

Your teeth will become whiter, your breath will improve, your fingernails will stop looking yellowish, and your hair will smell nicer.

More importantly than your appearance, it is the single best thing that you can do for your health.

It will improve drastically. Your teeth will get whiter, your nails won't get yellow (from the handling of the tar on the cigs), your skin will clear up, your lungs won't get as black, and you will have a longer and healthier life. Congrats on quitting!!
