i have wondered if the davinci code was real because there is a contest in my city and if you can prove that the da vinci code was real you can win 10,000 dollars. if you care to answer this question please explain your answer.

it's a trick question, there are loads of references in the Da Vinci code as far as symbols, history, the bible, geography, art and science go. Some are real and some are elaborated on as part of the story. Some are theories and some are incorrect and based on falsehoods. So it would depend on what part of the DaVinci code you are asking about. the symbology in the book is mostly accurate. The theory that Mary Magdalene and Jesus were married is not proven but a very attractive one that makes sense to a lot of people. Proving this would be worth a lot more than 10K obviously.

some of the facts in it are real but some of the theories and mysteries solved towards the end of the book are unknown. i guess it depends on whether you believe in it or not.
