When I'm angry I yell and scream and say things I don't mean. Luckily I don't get that way too often, so I don't believe their true self comes out when angry (or drunk for that matter).

saying that a person's true self comes out when they're angry may not be totally correct. reason for this is that they tend to want to hurt or 'lash' out when angry and may say things that are untrue with the sole purpose of being hurtful.
this does not have to be their true self, this is their angry self and there's usually a HUGE difference.

It depends on what kind of a person he or she is. I do not agree that when a person gets angry that's when their true self come out.
Anger is something when very few people can control themselves.................so they say whatever comes in their mouth. So U cant judge someone through his anger.

Anger is a very strong emotion, so it can rear its ugly head and not be a pretty thing. It releases all of our inner feelings and can do things and say things we don't mean. I try really hard not to get angry or yell at someone because I can say things that are cruel and 10 minutes later not mean them at all!!

I have NEVER said something in anger that I didn't mean. I think when someone gets angry....the angry side of them comes out. Its an emotion....its not anger that people should worry about....its the levels of anger that determines what is going to happen.

I think a lot of stuff comes out that's been bottled up for a while and it may sound mean, but it's their true feelings. Sometimes I have said things I don't mean to hurt someone out of defense, so I know both sides.

I think that they're true feeling come out and I believe that people say things that they may feel but never say. They may mean them but not the way they say it. Its kind of hard to explain but you definately get the true person after you've pissed them off!

when people are angry they say things they dont always mean. usually to hurt the other person so that they will feel better. it's when they're drunk that the truth comes out
