Im very concerned.. I didn't hit myself on anything yet I have a huge bruise on my leg. Is there any condition out there that would cause bruises as a symptom?

The bruise doesn't hurt one bit so I know I didn't hit myself with anything.

It may not mean anything. If you're feeling okay, just write it off as one of those things. If you continue to have unexplained bruises, then a trip to the doctor is in order. There are several blood disorders that manifest as unexplained or easy bruising., but there are usually other symptoms as well. I wouldn't take one bruise too much to heart.

Do not get alarmed because when your leg hit something hard, the soft tissues were somewhat damaged and bleeding in tissues give you bruises. But easy bruises can be indication for:
1) Early diabetes
2) Leukemia
3) Low platelets
4) Physical Abuse (being punched by someone)
If more bruises appear see a Doc!!

Cancer, anemia, low blood suger, weak blood count. Bruises are really nothing to be worried about unless it takes more than a couple weeks for it to go away. I'm anemic so I bruise VERY easily it can be embrassing when you wanna wear shorts or somethings. But I wouldn't worry about them.

Some people bruise very easily. Where you sitting or leaning on something that was uncomfortable.
Also yes I think it is a sign of anemia.

Low platelets. Bleeding under the skin. Blood may be too thin, do not take any ASPIRINS or A.S.A.
I recommend that you ask your Family Doctor to send you to a specialist NOW.

It means that there is bleeding under the skin and you should have it checked by your doctor. Stop looking for medical advice from people you do not know.
