What does it mean if my arms or legs have tiny little twitches every now and then, sometimes no times a day, sometimes like four times a day. just tiny little twitches. i have recently started excersizing more and eating less because im quite overweight and losing weight so it may be something to do with that but I'm also scared i have cancer or MS. thanks

Rest easy. Twitches are common and have nothing to do with illness or weight. They just occur. I get them too and usually rubbing the spot where the twitch happens 'calms' them down.
Have a great day and good luck with the weight loss.

Well if that's what twitches mean then I probably have cancer myself, cuz I twitch all the time. Honestly I don't think it is that big of a deal but next time you go see your doctor for a checkup you might just casually mention it and see what he has to say about the situation.

That is probably just your muscles relaxing or twitching. I think that is totally different from what older or sick people get known as the twitches . Since your not doing it daily I wouldn't worry. My legs and arms have done that all my life and I'm healthy. If you get to stressing about it go to the doctor and let him test you but I don't think since your not doing it daily it would be anything to worry about..

My eye twitches when I am stressed out. Because you have recently started working out it could be due to muscle strain. I wouldn't worry about it. Twitches are not bad for you, I have had them for years.

I'm no doctor but it sure sounds an awful lot like muscular dystrophy. Go to the ER immediately and tell them what you learned on yahoo answers.

Dont worry about it too much its just a few muscle spasms and involuntary movements it has nothing to do with your weight. If it gets too severe then check with a doctor.

A LOT of people are scared of witches, but they are not real, they only come out on Halloween, or in the case of my sister, at 7 a.m. M-F.

well, LETS say since your body is so used to the fact that you eat and haven't used it for working out it'll start out like that, but if you feel that you have too see a doctor go and see one its better of then asking these people in here. and remeber to have insurance too, loll hope that helped you out loll
