Use a volumizing product at the roots, blow dry with a big round brush, and try flat ironing in vertical sections to give more body. Then tease, tease, tease!

I have straight hair too and love to iron it sometimes for a sleeker look. I like adding a little bit shine to it too by spraying some defrizzer on it(the heat can make it a little frizzy).
