Well, I think that if you are too snoopy, your daughter will lose her trust in you when she finds out. It is very hurtful to a teenage girl when she finds out her parents have been going through her room, emails, mail, etc...
So beware when she finds out. It will be hard to regain that trust back, and you might go through a lot of pain because of it.
Second-I will tell you how you can possibly find out. If you look on the toolbar above the internet site you are viewing, you will see a clock with a green arrow. That's the History button. Click on it, and there will be an alphabetized list of websites that were visited that day, or even before then. The only problem with this is that if your daughter knows how to erase this history-she can. So if nothing shows up except for the websites you have visited, then she, or someone, has erased the history.

If YOU control the use of the computer, you can lock her out. Get someone familiar with this to show you how, and give you a crash course in email accounts, computers, etc. YOU are the parent. You are the one paying the money for your ISP. Get with it now!

I'll just save you the trouble. If she's a teenager, I'm sure she has several. I've had more than one since the dawn of the internet. My mom has more than one. My coworkers have more than one. That's the beauty of free e-mail accounts. You can have a ton and no one has to know about all of them.

The only way you could find out is from her or her friends... Mainly the one she has on her address book on her email account.

There is something you can purchase that tracks each and every key stroke you have have installed in your computer. Try going to a computer store as asking around you should be able to find it. I don't remember what they call it. That way when she is using the computer later you can find out exactly what sites and usages she has used.

wow...nosey parents. sorry but that's just wrong. i don't understand why parents can't let their children be. i know it's your daughter but oh no...not e-mail!! what harm can she be doing? maybe she just wants to communicate with her friends without being pushed for..who are you talking to , do i know them, who are their parents and blah blah blah..

hope this wasn't too harsh but just talk to her and be understanding. don't yell and try to keep things calm. just ask her and if she says no just be like ok i was just wondering. and if she says yes thank her for being honest

hope things work out. and to answer your question.. there is really no way of finding this out unless you hire a pi or something like that. you could check your computers history and it might help

if she's smart...you'll never know. but honestly if you have a reason not to trust her..you dont need to let her on, or at least be alone on the computer. but my parents never knew about my emails and still dont..not that i wrote anything bad--i was a good girl (though they constantly thought differently). try trusting her a little..you may be suprised.
