Increase calcium intake and Amino Acid intake. Eating seafood is said to help also.
Brush your hair less. This causes breakage and thins hair. Instead, wear a silk head scarf around the house. Hair will be smoother and plump up over time.
Also try a repair shampoo. Matrix or Nexxus are good but if you don't want to spend a fourtane Suave Professional has the same formulas without the cost (that's what I use).
Watch your diet and eat right. Getting the right minerals really helps. And don't buy into the hair growth formulas. They're expensive and don't work.

Take a prenatal vitamin, or a womens multivitamin plus a vitamin E supplement. Also, in the vitamin aisle you will find vitamin E oil for about the cost of vitamin E pills. Use this to supplement a hot oil treatment in your hair weekly. This will help infuse your hair with vitamins making it stronger, and as it grows, thicker.

there are 2 components to thicker hair...inside and outside. Inside, make sure you protein intake everyday meets the daily requirements, espcially when it comes to iron. Very important in healthy hair. Outside, use thickening products, like Marc Anthony's Thick products. They will take away the bouncin' quality, though, as they attach to each hair shaft making it tougher. You get a hairspray type feel to the hair.

Thick hair is mostly attributed to genes, but putting the right foods into your mouth, exercising, and giving your hair breaks (i.e. letting it air-dry once in a while free of products) are all ways of making your hair healthier and thicker.

OK there are two ways you can do it and I've used both and they are great! One is Prenatal vitamins but make sure you are not having unprotected sex because it will make it easier to get pregnant and also take a months supply of birth control crush it up into your shampoo and that Will work too

coconut oil.........deep massage and keep it on for atleast half an hour before shower (use mild shampoo). Try twice a week and expect results in 3 months.
Go to any indian grocery and ask for Vatika hair oil, parachute hair oil. Both are good.
It might lead to minor dandruff condition....drink a lot of water to avoid it.
All the best.

If you want instant results you should try using volume enhancing products but if they don't work try hair extensions...they're great! But if you can wait a while then try taking hair and nail vitamins and massaging your head whilst shampooing in a firm but gentle way.
