Sorry, I don't feel like explaining it anymore--

I've literally explained myself at least 50 times...

What's the point in explaining it again ... just for another 10 points?

No... Patriotism is more than a lousy 10 points--- if you're so interested, look up my history here on the forum.

I'll save you the trouble;

When I reply, I do so with allegience to my country! Below are links to other questions that I answered-- so you can gain knowledge concerning how I feel personally:

I would like to see us take a softer line toward legal naturalization of those immigrants who've demonstrated a good faith while here illegally. I don't feel we have any obligation to allow those who've entered illegally to stay but I'd like to see us consider the option in good faith provided they become naturalized citizens. This idea that the many immigrants currently in the country are good faith is misleading and it's unfair to expect the United States to naturalize them. I think they all should become legal, learn the language and those who've violated laws should be returned to their homeland. I don't think there is a reason we should be obligated to naturalize anybody yet other countries have rules requiring legal naturalization. In fact Mexico has very strict rules regarding naturalization for citizenship. All countries have rules regarding naturalization and everyone should follow the legal protocol. There is no reason they should be allowed certain rights while not being legal because they stole a security number and identity. The fact we border the impoverished country of Mexico does not require us to be there surrogate provider. I've no issue with those who want to come here legally and become citizens as for those who feel a sense of entitlement let them go home. We don't owe them citizenship but we want to be a welcoming and generous nation to those who treat that with respect. We want to be an inclusive nation that is good for us but we must not do that foolishly or to the determent of our own fabric.

Wouldn't a better question be, why should we allow a Congress that has for years been in favor of mass immigration? Isn't Congress in a Catch 22 for their own actions as we 'write?'

I have taken the pro-amnesty, pro-human side for the simple fact that the 'fallout' of a mass deportation will have complex and greater consequences inside our government. This is like the parents who took in some runaways, let them do and be, and now they want to discipline them and teach them who they should be when they grow up! Cause and effect is alive and well in the USA!

No, there should only be earned citizenship. You've been here more than 5 years, have family ties, work hard, why not get a resident status if you are already a resident anyway?
There should be a wall built , but that will take years anyway. Meanwhile if you want everyone to pay taxes, so they are not a burden to the states, they you have to give them a SSN and proper documents. That DOESN'T mean citizenship.
Personally I don't need o be a citizen, but I want to be a resident so I can travel freely and earn another degree. Millions of people have put their lives on " stop" just because they don't have papers.

I think those that have been here for a certain amount of time (5 years for example) should be able to stay. They have kids that are American Citizens. They have lives and jobs. As long as they have not committed a state crime or been on government assitance, what not? I hear what you're saying about them coming here illigally and not wanting to reward them for it. But I can't in good conscience put thousands of people on trains and send them back to a country where they'll starve. That's the bottom line, like it or not.
