I think in your case it would be ok .. to have different classes ... being cousins and all .. they influence each other more then other kids will ... if one is getting in trouble ... believe me ... the other will be right behind ... maybe not making the bad choices them self ... but they'll be there when it all happens ... and get in trouble just like the other ... I watched it with my brothers & cousins growing up and they had to make sure they were in different classes every year ... !
I wouldn't just flat out tell your brother .. why .. you don't want them in the class together .. just let him know you think it would be a better idea so the kids can grow individually without influencing each other ... and he should understand ... if you make it sound like it's best for his child too then he has no reason to be upset ... !

Why not, if the school feels they need to be separated they will. If you specifically don't want them in the same class then talk to the school about it. Keep in mind your daughter is also a different child and it doesn't mean she is going to get in trouble just because her cousin does and is in her class.

You will not be able to control who your daughter is in class with. Odds are there'll be plenty of kids in her classes over the years who are far greater troublemakers than your nephew. Leave it alone.
Think of the positive: your daughter and your nephew may have a closer relationship than most cousins get to have, more like that of siblings, and she'll have a guy around that may look after her if she gets into a jam.

Just let the school decide. If they end up in the same class so what. If your child is raised properly and show the right amount of attention and love at home then you should have no worries about her taking after her cousin

no then. in my schools I was never able to pick my teacher so that shouldnt be a problem. just tell the principal yourself without your brother knowing that you wouldnt like them in the same class.

Don't worry about it, let the teacher handle them. If your daughter knows right from wrong, it shouldn't be an issue.

Unless the boy is getting your girl involved then I wouldn't make a deal about it. You aren't his parent and your girl shouldn't get a troublemaker label by default of relations.

Call the teacher personally and tell him/her to place them on different sides of the room. You can keep it quiet and your request will never been known outside the phone call.

Maybe the structure of school will help keep your nephew in line.
I don't see why they shouldn't be in the same class.
