Well I really feel its up to how often your child interacts with other children already and what your schedule is to work with. I have worked as a preschool teacher for 8 years and now stay home with my 2 year old. See, we go to church and I watch my friends lil girl who is also 2 so she gets a lot of other interaction. Sometimes its helpful if you have a lot to do during the day and you need like half a day here and there to get some stuff done. there is nothing bad about using daycare for your time cause it also benifits the child to be able to spend some time with other kids and learn to listen and learn from other adults other then just you. When I worked in the preschool, we found that the longer a child in ONLY with the parent then its harder on them in the long run when they have to be in school. Now if your child is used to being with other people then its not as hard. I do feel that around 3 1/2 to 4 its very important to put them in preschool even if its part time to get ready for kindergarten. Studies show that it really makes a difference in your child's learning experience. I hope this helps and if you have any other questions feel free to ask.

Any age is good, although you might want to start with baby steps if your not ready. Im not ready and my son is three. I just enrolled him for the first time, and opted for the 1 1/2 hour a day instead of the full or half day. He may be ready but I cant let my baby boy go. Good Luck.

Any time is good. If you do make the decision to place your toddler into a daycare take your time and do your research. Check out as many as you can, ask questions, go visit the centers and ask for referrals. Pop up unexpectedly at the day cares. I don't want to scare you but I've had some bad daycare experiences. You'll always be attached to your child even until they go off to college, you'll want to do what's best for your child, which I'm sure you already do.

If she doesn't need to go into daycare for family reasons (ie. you working) then I would not place a child in day care before the age of three and then I would consider just one or two half days so she gets some socialisation happening but is not overwhelmed by it. Don't feel guilty about keeping her with you. It was not that long ago in the history of humanity when no one's child went to day care programme and they all survived quite well...

Three years is good. They are just about sick of being at home with you by that age, unless you are absolutely the world's most entertaining mother; they can talk, use the toilet, shake hands, all that sort of stuff, and I think if you leave it till after three they don't get so good with the social stuff. I wouldn't put a kid in before the age of three, myself; they can't talk, it's too young.

I started when my son was 1 1/2 years. I had trouble with it for about the first week. Now it's not a problem.

I placed my son in a infant mattress at 14 months by way of fact he grow to be mountaineering out of his crib, it grow to be a protection situation for us and it grow to be only safer, he did only fantastic. If I had it to do lower back however i might bypass the infant mattress and circulate at present to a twin length. he's a huge boy (2 a million/2 and 38" tall) so he outgrew the infant mattress very straight away.
