sun doesn't wait for me to rise most of the time. seriously , yes. and a thousand other things. do you have to be a believer to enjoy the beauty of something??? not necessarily. I enjoy calm serene places. secluded places. some time when you travel on a train you dont see anything , but plains for miles on. nothing there to admire but solitude . I mean the creator apparently hasn't got to work there yet. it is as good for me as a sunset. or the top of a building at evening , away from the noises of city , with silence broken by the barking of a dog occassionally. Do you think the peace also was given you by the creator?? then why some people cannot see this beauty , feel this peace??
i have nothing against the creator. only not all appreciate these things . it depends on the mood of people too.

Sometimes I will sit in the deep woodlands just before daylight and view Gods creation with such wonder and awe. Birds begin to stir and sing out and small animal will often scurry by in the predawn light. As light begins to penetrate the space I am in there is an explosion of song and activity as all creation seems to wake at once. I watch as sun beams cut thru the mist and things slowly start to quiet as the creatures around me begin to concentrate on food. I am always surprised by something new when I am there and its quite wonderful to be in Gods presence at times like that.

Every morning, right from our large window in the bedroom. First it's a fiery glow as it rises slowly over the mountains and one of the volcanos, everything is suffused with the rosy light. Reminds me of a poem that speaks of the 'rosy fingers of dawn'. Oh how beautiful when they are covered with snow!
Then it's topping some of our trees, and the canyon below is still in shadow, then, all most quickly, our room is full of light and a whole new day awaits us.

The best view is the beaches on the east coast. Sooo beautiful coming up over the ocean! Sleep usually wins out over scenery though.

It does.
I work week-end shifts at a hospital ER and the sun comes up just about the time I come home and after all I have seen the night before it brings me great peace.
Thank you, Peace be with you as well,
Katy

I have watched the sun rise, and the sun set. More often with sun sets. I often find it cold in the morning and in the evening I often think about it for a few moments but then life beckons me back into the busy brained mentality of do this and do that. In reality, I think of things all the time. People who spend too much time in society think too little, and people who spend too much time alone think too much. They say it's easy to live on societys means with society, and its easy to live on your own means on your own, but it's that who finds the sweetness of solitude in society that is truly great. I couldn't agree more.

It is, and it does.

God has given us so many gifts, it is sad to see so many think that they are happy by rejecting them.

His wonders fill the world, but we are to blind to notice!

Thank you!
Peace!
