Ok, here we go. Right before High School ended, I was finally able to go out with this girl I really liked. I can tell she liked me as well, although we were never really able to make anything of it due to time restrictions. I was scheduled to move to Pheonix in the middle of summer and I decided that I would let her go and leave her to her own life. Well, things changed and I'm still here in this town. Now she is going to college in a town only thirty minutes from here and we recently just started talking again. I wonder if it would be at all possible for me to rekindle that old relationship and see if things don't go better this time because of the fact that I am not moving far away.

certainly. She may like you too since you are on good terms. Maybe you could discuss with her how things would be different this time and that the distance is not a factor anymore. good luck

You cant really "get" someone to go back out with you, you just have to be yourself and see where it goes. If it was meant to be then you two will again be together if it wasnt then you will find someone better for you in the future. Im sure this isnt the answer that you want to hear but its the truth. Remember everything happens for a reason!

I think you should call her up and invite her out on a date. If she says yes, you have your answer. It sounds like you parted simply due to the fact that you thought you were moving. I'm surprised you didn't call her right away once you found out that you were not moving.

Just get together( coffee, dinner, drinks) and tell her how you feel. Honesty is always the best policy here or else you end up playing games and your too old for that now.

Just ask her out....why not? The old expression "nothing ventured, nothing gained" is appropriate, and you certainly don't want to look back someday saying "if only....". Good luck!

You ex is ex for a reason. BUT, since you insist, just tell her how you feel. You know real heart felt honesty...hey, it's worth a shot.

Go for it you guys didn't really get your chance to be together and if you really like her and vice versa you should go for it especially if she is single and it is only a 30 min. car ride.

Well, if you're single and she's single, what's the problem? It doesn't hurt to ask her out. The worst she can do is say no and I don't think the word "no" has ever killed anyone. :)
