Everytime I drink green tea, I get terrible stomach pain about 45 minutes to 1 hour after consuming it. Also feel nauseated and weak. note: It was not on an empty stomach. I'm ready to give it up, as the healthy qualities are not worth the pain. Can anybody explain this?

You might have an ulcer. Stop drinking it. Green tea can cause acid stomach which can agrivate it. Please go see your doctor about this ASAP. Take care.

Green tea should not upset your stomach. Yes, you should give it up if you are having pains from drinking it. There are no healthy qualities in something that gives you pain. Those would actually be harmful qualities. It may be an allergy to something in the tea, I would ask a doctor next time you went. Don't call the doctor just for that reason, just stop drinking the tea. Good Luck!

tea can be acidic and maybe your threshold for it is not really that good so thats why it makes you have that problem.
