I would agree with everyone else in saying something off her registry but then I would also suggest a gift certificate to a day spa, I got one for my bridal shower, it was for $25 but that was enough for a basic manicure or enough so that I could put in some of my own money and get what I wanted done! I really enjoyed the thought of the gift, especially knowing how stressful it is in the weeks leading up to a wedding!

If you don't want to buy off of the registry - the wedding time capsul is a cool idea. They are available at a lot of gift shops.
(Here is what it looks like online: http://www.thesweetestmemories.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=1037)
I don't remember it being more than $30 in the stores. I bought one for my sister. And I'm getting married next year and I would love something like that!
Another idea? Maybe a cute sign that says "The (last name)"
Or, go to Things Remembered and get them a throw/blanket. They can embroider their name on it and wedding date. It's very sweet and something they'll have forever.

Candles and candle holders. Are they registered anywhere? If so get something small off the registry.

Get something off of her registry. She made a registry for a reason. You can't go wrong with buying off of it.

This is going to sound odd, but postal stamps.
It's something people forget about, but always need. Just think of all the thank you notes she will be sending.

Go take a look at her registry. Ask your boyfriends mom where she is registered.
