Are you leaving the engine on while you deliver the pizza? this takes gas. Also use a full tank like someone else said. You lift it you'll loose about 3-4mpg easy. More wind resistance and the tires weigh more a lot more. My jeep Cherokee went from 19mpg to 15mpg when I lifted it 4.5" and put on 33's.

nope, your getting 10.8mpg. Things you can do to improve that number:
1. Change the air filter. Its commonly looked over and will kill your gas millage.
2. Put the right octane gas in your truck. For you probably medium. I drive a 4.6Lt Chevy v6 as well and I get around 15mpg. Just the way those v6's run I guess.
3. Take useless crap out of it. Your weighting it down with stuff you don't need, that kills your gas millage as well. My truck weighs around 2 tons and it has crap inside and out of it.
4. If you live in a big city that will kill your millage as well. constant idling you know.
5. Pulling trailers will throw off your calculations.
6. Oil changing when it needs it.
7. Oil filter. That goes with the oil change.
8. The way you drive. If you floor it everywhere you go your gonna kill your mileage as well.
9. Condensater. Don't get one, trust me they DO NOT work. All they do is absorb very small amounts of water that doesn't change anything.
10. 4x4. If you have all time 4x4, or you have it in 4x4 that will run your gas bill up as well.

Here you can see the expected gas mileage you are supposed to get. http://www.fueleconomy.gov/feg/findacar.htm

Run a few more tanks through it. Go a couple hundred miles between fillups to get a better reading.

Are you using the AC while driving the truck? Also, make sure it's tuned... new plugs, air filters, etc.
