I would go for the GMC Sierra, but I'm a little biased!

Seriously, I've worked for both a Ford and GMC dealership, they are different trucks but buth have a strong, loyal following. Either would be a great truck!

This probably isn't what you want to hear, but both of those trucks will lose over 60% of their value in 3 years. A toyota tundra will not only be a more durable vehicle, but it will also be a much better investment. Think about it, beyond the monthly payments you will lose almost $700 per month in depreciation for the first three years while a tundra will depreciate less than 400/month. So the Tundra costs more, try to sell a used american vehicle...
of the choices I would go with the silverado. You would also be better off looking at a HD pickup as they hold their value better especially the diesels.

good luck

I am always partial to Chevy trucks. But overall, both are great vehicles. So you need to look at what you are going to use the truck for, how much you want to spend, and the options you will get with both. Then make a decision on your own. They will both treat you well and last a long time.

Without any doubt. A Silverado.
