I love my job. I wish I would cry because of one of my students. They know I will hurt them before they hurt me. I teach 12th grade and I am 25. I am not that far from their age. It's all in how you deal with them. Don't be their buddy, be their teacher.

What is so funny is that when I was young. One of my teachers called me a *****, and to **** off. I told them to go to hell and I got detention for the whole summer. So then later in life I be came a teacher and I had fun with the children that I taught. there were the challenging ones that tried my patience but they became my best students. So the teacher that told me that I was not gonna amount to a whole lot of a bowl of beans, it actually got me to work harder for what I want. yes there was a madness to her way of thinking but if it wasn't for her I would not be where I am today. So thank you Misses Melton of Mira Loma High School in Carmichael, Ca. 1985

The music that makes me cry the most is a music talked about as "My Immortal" via Evanescence. attractive , yet unhappy written lyrics. an major music that brings me to tears from the first actual line of the music being sung. each and every time. Amy Lee can sing the hell out of that music.

I have known teachers to cry. I have known some to quit in the middle of the year.
It depends on what district you work in and what kids you get AND your classroom management skills.
