I've never had a cat do that, but my bet is that you are using a face cream that smells like food to the cat. As an experiment, try leaving off all creams and rubbing your face with an orange peel one night. Cats usually find fruit smells disgusting, especially orange. If the cat stays away from your face that night, then it is a smell thing, and you need to change to a brand of face cream that the cat doesn't think is yummy. Or just close the door and listen to the cat howling and scratching all night.

Well, you are either wearing something that smells good to the cat, or it is just looking for attention. Mine used to knock things off my dresser to wake me up so I would feed him. I found that keeping a full squirt bottle of water next to the bed worked pretty effectively. Every time the cat starts to nibble on you, grab the bottle and squirt it in the face, no need to get up or even yell. After a few rounds of that, the cat will quit chewing on you (but will probably find something else annoying to do instead).

I would say use something like a lemon smell. Cats dont like things with a pungent oder. I realize you may not like that on your face but it could be just until the cat gets used to it. You could lock the cat out but as a cat owner myself I hate doing that too. You may also think about getting something to sooth the cat such as a pray around your bed so it calms down when in your room or go just the opposite get one of those sprays that they dont like the smell of to detract the cat from coming in or getting on the bed.
Anyways, Good Luck! >^..^<

Ours still nips toes at night. Close the door.
If he was biting toes, I'd say put some Vick's Vaporub on your toes to deter him.
Since he's biting your lips & face, you don't want Vicks on your face, so you'll have to close the door or confine the cat to another area of the home.

Don't let them sleep in the room with you. You may be using something on your face and lips that the cat is attracted to. My cousin's cat nurses on her hair when she sleeps.

Close the door so the cat can't get into your room. Or you can sleep under the covers making sure that the cat can't get under them with you.

Probably she is trying to wake you up. Put her out of your bedroom whenever she bites you. She will get the picture very quickly. Meanwhile, you can put Vicks on your neck or chest and it may help to deter her.
