Sometimes the direct approach is best, just ask. But if that seems too bold for your liking, look for the following signs. Pay attention to your conversations with the person in question.
1) Does this person show a special interest in having a conversation with you and, once started, make an effort to keep that conversation going?
2) Has this person taken a sudden interest in your life and hobbies? This is a sure sign that he or she is interested in something.
3) Other elements of body language include frequent eye contact, holding your gaze and looking down before looking away.
4) Does the person you're wondering about just plain smile at you a lot?
Just remember, take each moment like it will be the last. This I feel will be a good start for you in knowing. Good Luck!!!!!!!

Well, a lot of people find their siblings hanging around when they want to talk to their friends annoying; she could just want him to go away! I know a lot of my friends seem to hate it when their little brother or sister keeps joining in the conversation. (Although I personally don't mind, so long as we're not talking about someone we fancy, etc.) I suppose there's a possibility that she could like you in that way, but I wouldn't read too much into what she's saying. It sounds like a perfectly innocent 'Get lost, little dude' thing to me. On the other hand, and I don't want this to sound insulting or make you uncomfortable, maybe you like her in that way, or kind of wish she did like you that way. When we have crushes on people, well, when I have crushes on people, things that they say can almost always be turned into a 'perhaps they DO like me' statement. I don't know. Just a suggestion for you to think about! n_n It's not wrong for you to like her, or anything. You just might feel better if you know how you feel. Careful, if you do like her in that way; you'll have to decide whether you value your friendship with her so much that you won't act on your feelings. Relationships rarely last long when you're young(ish), so be careful which decision you make... I had a similar predicament, and I'm glad that I didn't do anything... I think...

It's a possibility that she likes you, but it could also mean that she just doesn't want her brother eavesdropping on your conversations.
