I'm 19 yrs old study in business study, i want to join in my dad's bussiness but my dad dont want me to join in, he thinks that its not a girl's job its very tough for me he wants me to do job after finishing my studies but not join in his bussiness. could u pls tell me what should i do ? keep following my dads word or do as i want. i dont want make him unhappy for my work.

Finish school. I know that parents always want the best for their kids and he probably feels you can do better then his work slash he probably doesn't want you to follow in his footsteps [not that its bad, just he wants better for you]. Parents are funny like that.

You're 19, you are old enough to make an educated decision. You should always aim to please but at the end of the day, only you will have to answer to you. You will have to wake up and go to bed dealing with the consequences of your decisions. If he won't let you join his business, then find someone else in the same business and be successful there. He will see that, will respect you more, and might actually ask you to come work with or for him.

I'd say to focus on something that you can do and yet he would agree on and ask him to invest in it. If he is a buisiness man and he cares about you he should be able to support you somehow but remember Jesus said those who can be trusted with little cant be trusted with much. so show him that you can be trusted with little bits at a time to prove yourself worthy.

go girl open your own business and follow your dad's advice and if you failed in anything you still have your dad's business to work in he won't refuse at that time because he doesn't want you to fail in another job

If he won't hire you on, then don't push it. Find a position in a competitor's business to prove your worth, then maybe he will reconsider. (unless we are talking like the Mafia or something here?)

for beginning work for another huge company later on he will see you can do more than he thought before and if not so after he get retired u still can run his business

finish your studies first. maybe he doesnt want you to think you have a free ride on his coattails and then something goes wrong with his business and your stuck with no education and no job.

What is the nature of the work? Maybe you should listen to him. Or just hold to your guns and prove him wrong...but do so without alienating him.

start so where other place an d make yor own name for urself, instead of "that "your dads name, duaghter" its probly best this way, he may be tring to protect u rom something
