It's a myth that stomach acid gives vomit its bad taste. Stomach acid is tasteless, although it does produce a burning sensation if it comes into the mouth through burping, vomiting, or acid reflux. The foul taste of vomit is due to three factors:

Vomit contains butyl acid, a chemical produced in the small intestine, which gives vomit its unforgettable smell and taste
Vomit consists of digested and partly-digested food -- different kinds of food -- mixed together in ways that no one would ever attempt voluntarily
Vomit typically contains no sweeteners; sugars are the first part of food digested, as digestion of them actually begins while they're still in the mouth

Actually vomit contains all the gastric content mixed with Hcl that is present in the stomach. This leads to such a horrible taste of vomit material.

well, that's because all the food that has been digested are coming out of your mouth rather than the usual way (anus) and all the acid which are mixedwith the waste comes out too and they come out through your tongue...sometimes they are bitter and tastes the worst is because they passed through the bitter part of your tongue which is at the back.

Vomit is not a nice thing to taste...

because it is mixed with your digective fluids which are highly acidic. this helps your food break down. but when you vomit, it is very bitter and sort of destructive to the esophagus (sp) and your mouth because that skin is much more delicate than your stomach.
