If you mean a lot of money, then no.
But I won't date a guy who doesn't have a job or isn't looking for one.
It makes it kinda hard to go out or have any fun, if he's broke all of the time.
I'm perfectly happy to pay for myself - but I'm not paying for his expenses except for maybe once in a while.
I don't care where he lives either, or what kind of car he drives, just that he has any car, and he takes care of it and his house/apartment.

Not necessarily alot of money but I refuse to date a man that doesn't have some. Usually that means he doesn't have a job or know how to manage his money or finances so yes it does matter but not because i am materialistic but because i don't want some lazy scum off the side of the road.

Absolutely. A person has to at least be able to pull his/her own weight, otherwise they'll just be a burden (financial at first, probably emotional later). I'm not talking a LOT of cash, but definitely a J-O-B

One of my requirements is that a candidate be self-supporting. I don't have time for freeloaders. That does not translate into requiring that they be wealthy. But if they cannot pay their own bills, then I am not their girl.

Yes but they don't have to have lots. I just don't want them to be broke because I don't want to pay for everything and take care of them.

No money should not come into it....unless they are in deep debt and cannot control their money.
if that is the case ...maybe you could help them manage things better.
