I like it quite well. He may take some heat for it later, because kids can be cruel, but I think it will wear well, and he'll probably appreciate having a more unique name when he grows up.

kids today have all kinds of names, give him a 'normal' sounding middle name and if he decides he doesn't like it he can switch. i personally love the name, and i think that if he does get teased it has nothing to do with your choice, but the way kids are, and everyone gets teased for something anyway.
