first u need to get a cut. if u want to keep ur length then just ask to trim the split ends. use pantene restoritives breakage defence or sunsilk for dry hair ( i think its the pink bottles). if u wash ur hair everyday, make sure u don't use shampoo everyday. that'll get rid of too much oil from ur hair. if u still want to wash ur hair, use shampoo every other day and the days u dun use shampoo use conditioner only. it mosturizes ur hair and cleans it without getting rid of too much oil.

I'll tell you a really old recipe that I use from time to time that if you do this once a week for about two months, you'll qualify to model in a commercial. You mix one cup of olive oil per half cup of honey. Let them sit at least 24 hours, and then rub it all into your hair. Wrap a hot wet towel around your head (I heat up a wet towel in the microwave) and let it sit, repeatedly heating up the towel. I usually aim for 30 minutes. Then go wash it out. I am telling you, the oil and the wax in the honey combine and the hair is so perfect it doesn't look real.

I think the stuff I use is called Biosilk, kinda pricey but sooo worth it. It is almost like an oil so use only a small amount on dry hair. You can use more if your hair is wet (nickel size). You should be able to get it at any salon, however JC Penney salon sells it cheaper and in a gift pack priced at around $30-$35.

I like the Organic Root Stimulator conditioners (there's the ORS Hair Mayo & ORS Olive Oil Pak). Both are good. You can also consider going to a beautician and having them assess your hair.

Don't ask how I know but if your down you can try eggs and mayo...sounds weird but its one of the best ways to condition your hair or if you just want a good conditioner go to a salon and ask for Paul Mitchel's shampoo and conditioner.

deep condition! it doesnt matter which brand you use but deep conditioning 1-2 times a week will work wonders on your hair. my favorite is garnier fructis three minute mask, it costs about $3. my hair is fryed from over dying and if i dont condition constanly it starts to look terrible.

Morsture?

First of all, don't use a brush. Use a wide-toothed comb.
