What is the best way to "let someone go"....you know you need?

to for many reasons...but...you cannot confront her...because you have seen how she confronts people in a hostile and aggressive way...so i feel one way is to never return her calls or move on and change your phone number...Now remember she is NOT a best friend...and she will rebuke you in an aggressive way...and i'd rather not fight...because it would end on a hostile note!!!

first, do not do it w/ any hard feelings. u wanted to be her friend, but she is hostile. so already the problem is her, not you. u cannot change her. u can only change yourself. so if u have to stop answering her phone calls, etc, that's one way u can change ur behavior. and not because u are trying to hurt her, but because u are trying to move on.

but, if she ever tries to apologize, or become friends w/ you, u have to remember not to hold it against her what has happened in the past. be distant, but not with a grudge. people can change, they just have to do it on their on and on their own time. stop thinking of her as a horrible person, and just understand that she has reasons beyond her control that force her to act out towards other people in negative way, which is why u need to put distance between u two. of course at first, u feel that u are "right" and she is "wrong." but the more time that goes by, if u continue to try to do what is right for urself and the poeple around u, and stick to positive things, u will realize there is no resentment there. maybe disappointment, and sadness it didn't work out in a good way, but no hurt or resentment because YOU can let it go. she needs to work on her ability to do the same.
