not bad! use 1 tsp. of garlic salt at first then add more to taste. 2 tbsp. of garlic salt might make it to salty. if you want a garlic flavor add 1/2 tsp. of garlic powder in place of the rest of the garlic salt. after is ready to serve you can always add more salt to taste!
enjoy!

I think you need to use Garlic powder not salt because the salt content in the chicken soup is heavy anyway also you need a thickener to make this recipe into a sauce , parmesian cheese and parsley will not thicken enough. Suggestion is to add1to 2 tablespoons of Cornstarch or combination cornstarch and flour to cold soup before you heat the soup. Sauce will thicken as it comes to the boiling temperature. IF you don't thin the can soup with water or milk then omit thickener.

I agree that you should delete the garlic salt. You can add garlic powder or minced garlic, and salt to taste.
More cheese will make it taste more Alfredo tasting. Why parsley, is that your personal preference? Some others gave some good suggestions.
What else is going to be in the pasta, chicken maybe?

Actually, it is quite common for people to use cream soups as pasta sauces. As for your specific recipe, I would add more garlic, more cheese, plenty of pepper, and some basil. If the sauce is too thick, then you should add just a bit of white wine to thin it out.

Don't add garlic salt, just granulated garlic. Canned chicken soup has enough salt in it already.

Sounds pretty good! Try adding a little olive oil and/or fresh garlic for good measure and good health. Take care

IM THINKING IT MIGHT BE A BIT TOO SALTY. TRY GARLIC POWDER INSTEAD OF GARLIC SALT.
