I'm 5'11 and 145 pounds. I've tried to gain weight all my life and couldn't do it. I'm 38 years old.
Better be thin than fat. It's an easier life.

Drink protein shakes and workout. You will gain muscle which weighs more than fat and you will look awesome! I had the same problem growing up, I always wanted to gain weight. That is what I did and I am 27, 5 foot 6 and weigh 120 and look great!

Well it depends. If you have high metabolism you don't need to gain weight. that's the weight your body wants you to be at. If you have a low metabolism you should just eat normally. If you play alot of sports and get alot of exercise which is making you this weight your perfectly healthy. Whatever you do dont just sit around watching TV stuffing junk food into your mouth, that will probably lead you into an unhealthy lifestyle.-I hope this helps!!

5 ft 8 and 120 pounds. I was 6 ft and 190 pounds and trim.
If you add weight and it isnt muscle you may not be pleased.
Weights obviously.
Read Bill Pearl's book "Getting Stronger". Unlike a lot of wannabee trainers he actually knows what he is talking about.

if you are one and a three quarter centimeters tall and 120 lbs you probably shouldn't gain anymore weight, but since that was a mistake, you should eat plenty of carbs and workout to gain muscle mass

See the link below...you may be suffering from hyperthyroidism. A thyroid test is a blood test taken similarly to a cholesterol test.
Speak with your physician about your concerns...they are much more trusted than propaganda circulated in periodical form.

Your weight is probably fine as it is. But if you really are one point seventy-five centimeters tall, as you say, (that's about three quarters of an inch) then 120 lbs. would be grossly, morbidly and impossibly obese.

Well I wish I needed to gain weight, but I don't so i'd suggest asking your doctor the best thing to do. I think there's a drink that you can buy that puts weight on you.

Are you a long distance runner (over 800 meters) if so, your weight is ok.
If your telling me you want to get bigger, then you need to go on a weight training/weight-gain program.
