the new format is ok, the old way made for some long and boring matches, but the matchups without weight class made it more intriguing... and the matches without rounds made it possible for some of the martial artists to use their skills...Royce Gracie isn't a slugger... and in the old format he would have beaten Matt but in the new format, you don't have time to wrestle...so Matt won...That's why everyone is training in "fighting systems" now instead of 1 discipline of martial arts.

I love the UFC. It puts a fighter up against another fighter in head to head action. Any fighter can win a match on any given day. The UFC makes these men find out if they can really fight or if they are just dreamers. I am a fan of the ground and pound so Tito is one of my favorite fighters. I don't always like his antics in the octagon, but he wages a psychological war as well. He seems to be a pretty decent guy outside the octagon.

UFC kicks mucho ****! But I have problems with the direction the owners have been taking it, like purposely setting up press conferences and fueling fueds between fighters for more money. Pride FC is better in my opinion (the fighters are better but the refereeing is TERRIBLE, UFC outdoes Pride FC in that aspect hands down), but UFC still kicks mucho ****!

* Royce Gracie
* Ken Shamrock
* Randy Couture
They've popularized the martial arts that is known worldwide today.

Tim Sylvia really is a beast.....great scrapper. Arlovski is a "pit bull"! Bonnar and Florian rock too, as well as Forest Griffin!
