My sister said she ate a fruit in Costa Rica called a yuplon. Google turns up some off-hand references to it, but I can't find out anything about it. Does it have a more common name? What is its scientific name? Does anyone have a link to any pictures of it?

Thanks!

All I have found out is that it's bland, big, hard, and green. You might email: tropicalfruitgrowers@earthlink.net and ask them.
