EASY.. On the spice or seasoning isle ,buy an oven bag for pork chops, (you can also use lamb or any other meat, and it doesn't have to be chops, I've even used other kinds when it calls for pork or chicken).. It's a BLUE.. bag and it comes with an oven bag and tie, seasonings and instructions.. DON'T forget to put a little bit of water and cut holes on the top. You can also put your favorite vegetables in the same bag. It comes out so moist and tasty.. You can leave it in the bag and serve from there, or do what I do... Take it out when it's done ( in less than 40 min.)and arrange it on a glass dish with a bed of rice or pasta and it will impress anyone!! They have those bags for chicken as well as beef.. (everything).. You will fall in love with them. Can you tell I am!! *(No mess, no worry, and most important...delicious!) Good luck and have a nice romantic dinner, even if it is just for you!!

Easy Lamb Kebabs

To make these tasty lamb kebabs, you will need:

1 ½ pounds (12 oz. lean meat) boneless lamb shoulder, trimmed of fat and cut into 1-inch cubes

1/3 cup soy sauce

1/3 cup cooking oil

Juice of one lemon

½ teaspoon ground ginger

1/4 teaspoon ground pepper

1 clove garlic, crushed

1 large green pepper, seeds removed, cut onto 12 pieces

12 cherry tomatoes

12 fresh mushrooms

Salt

Place lamb cubes in a 2-quart bowl. In a measuring cup, combine soy sauce, oil, lemon juice, ginger, pepper and garlic. This is your marinade. Set aside a small amount of the marinade to use later, and pour the remaining marinade over the lamb cubes. Cover and refrigerate several hours or overnight. Pour off marinade and discard. Assemble kebabs by alternating lamb cubes, green pepper, tomatoes and mushrooms on skewers or bamboo sticks. Brush with the marinade you set aside earlier. Grill over hot coals or broil in the oven 3 to 4 inches from the heat source for 5 to 7 minutes. Brush with marinade as needed during cooking, to prevent drying. Sprinkle with salt before serving. Serve with a baked potato, crusty French bread and your favorite beverage.

okay depends on what cut of pork your planning on using, but if ya doin a leg of pork, score the skin first then place some cloves in the scores approx iamtely 8 for standard 4-5lb joint, smother with oil and rub it right in wiv ya hands then sprinkle with sea salt or low salt to get the crackling going, baste regularly and re-apply salt if neccessary, servce with fresh local veg and a home made apple sauce, does wonders for my fella.....alternatively try pork fillet cut into medallions and, dry fried and place on a bed ov nutmeg mash ( just mashed pots with a dash ov nutmeg...don't go heavy on it) Gorgeous. then serve with fresh local veg.. Also try BBC food there's some great recipes on that from all sorts ov different chefs. Hope ya have a good meal

The best thing for pork chops is A1 Marinades. I always get either the Mesquite, or the New York Steakhouse. My pork chops always come out tender and delicious when I use that stuff! And it is cheap! Try them they are sooooo goood!

Fry the lamb with onions and mushrooms if you have them, put into a gravy in the oven (use soy sauce, gravy powder, little mint sauce) covered with small slices of potato. Bake for an hour. Check it doesnt dry out - cover with foil for half hour if you have it, then turn up the heat to brown the potatoes. He/she will have to marry you!!
