Instead of downloading various CoDecs and messing up your computer, just downlaod and install VideoLAN - Media Player, its free, open source, and has a built in CoDec that plays all the major formats.

a required Codec or Player is Needed. The Best place to go I have found is http://www.doom9.org and Download the Gordian Knot codec Pack Its has All required Codec For ANYTHING You download. Best of Luck

you need to download a codec. ur media player should pop up a box that says error click more and search the codec you need there is a site where you can download it. i dont member what it is but ive done it before.

Well you should go to this link download and install the CODECS (that is the short form of coder&decoders). this is the official link for Windows Media 7.1 and above.

If it still won't work, go to www.divx.com and download the codecs from this site. Most video on the net use DIVX codec.

This is one of the most complete set of codecs, is very reliable, and has been around for many years (updated regularly of course).

Chances are you are missing a video codex. Are you getting any kind of an error message? If you can figure out what you are missing, you can download what you need.

u may not be having the required codecs of them to play.....
u can download k-lite codec pack.... which allows u to play almost nething...
