I downloaded some songs from limewire, but it wont let me put the files into my itunes library

You need to make the files to mp3 so to make audio files to MP3 just go to your Windows Media Player
in the Tools>Options>Rip Music and change the format to MP3. Then go to RIP and rip all your audio files. If you don't like that way take go http://www.blazemp.com/mp3_ripper_softwa... and download the MP3 Ripper.

They are probably in WMA format, and iTunes only does MP3 and AAC. iTunes has a converter in the program itself, so look for that.

you can convert on Window Media player, go to tools tab and click options
