It's hard to say what causes a fetish to materialize in people. I have found that some men with foot fetishes are very dominant males in their jobs and life, and for some reason, adoring the foot is their way of being submissive (I don't date these men, lol...I have been doing research for the past 5 months, speaking to over a 1000 men). There is no definitive pattern to any fetish, and they range from just feet to shoes, stockings, boots, and even legs. I hate to be crude here, but most of them want to ejaculate on the feet and some want to sniff shoes and stockings. Wiggling the toes is a turn-on for some, and stroking a stiletto shoe is a turn on for others. In almost all cases, they want to be commanded to touch, sniff, and/or ejaculate on the foot/shoe. That is where the submissiveness seems to come into play.

I seen where the part of your brain that controls sex and your feet are right next to each other some people think the wires in your brain get a little mixed up and that's what causes a foot fetish

well my foot fetish came from when i was younger. i would go to my local park, i was about 5, and would find a lot of girls my age playing there. a lot of them wore shoes without socks, and there were a lot of rocks and woodchips at my park. so whenever a girl got one in her shoe she would take it off, and i would walk up to her, kneel down and take a sniff of her feet. i don't really know why, except maybe i was really curious when i was younger. and i loved the smell of all the girls feet i've sniffed, so i guess it jus kinda evolved into a fetish when i got older. i only like female feet, so i don`t think its that bad of a fetish to have especially whn girls wear sexy shoes and paint their toenails.

it came with womens obsession with making there feet look sexy with pretty shoes. So basically it came about because of womens fascination and obsession with shoes.
