I think the colors on my monitor are messed up because of a software problem. I would like to uninstall the driver, but then how do i see the graphics to install a good driver?
Thanks
Mary

You didn't mention what OS you are running on your machine, Anyways to install your graphic drivers or VGA Drivers whatever you name it, you have several ways there to do it. First method is to install it from a setup.exe file of your graphic driver if you have one and it should install it immediately. Second method is to go to control panel and run Add New Hardware wizard and it will seek new hardware you have installed, if it is an AGP or PCI graphic card then it will demand appropriate drivers for the graphic card. They could be either on your hard drive or on a CD from the vendor. The last method is to go to Device Manager and scene for changes and it should detect that you have uninstalled the drivers and later method is similar to above methods.

When you uninstall the video driver files, it should revert to VGA mode. If you're concerned about it, you can change it to VGA mode yourself before the uninstall. Then you won't be using the drivers when you uninstall them. Also, check your new driver files. Many of them come with instructions for how to install them, and they'll usually walk you through uninstalling the previous version.

After you uninstall your driver it will fall back to a default driver that displays limited graphics (if you are using Windows 98 or better). It will look like safe mode.

A default graphics driver kicks in if ur running windoze & uninstall your current driver. Then again, the issue might be with ur monitor and not your display adapter.

I assume you're running Windows since you don't specify. If you remove the graphics driver, it should boot into a mode that uses a standard, non-accelerated mode. It will be very low resolution (640x480?), but will allow you to install new drivers.
