If someone who claims to be an atheist combines him/herself with a spiritual movement, it simply means that that person wasn't a true atheist, but a kind of agnostic.
A true atheist doesn't feel any interest in any kind of religious & spiritual beliefs.

An innacurate definition of spirituality is in relation to religion. I happen to think that spirituality is separate from God since it has to do with the human spirit only (As in the secondary definition above). Atheists only belief in the non-existence of God. Not of the human spirit.
Yes people, it's not a contradiction to be Atheist AND Spiritual!

You get a Naturalist, Agnostic, Spritiist, or Deist which some consider New Age, but they have been around since at least the 1700's.

I'm sorry, but you are confused. Atheists do not believe in "spirits" When you speak of "New Age" You are simply talking about people that do believe in all that, they just don't believe in a christian god.
